Beautiful Tabriz with the famous ‘Benlian’ star at the top right corner. Benlian was an Armenian company which had some workshops in Tabriz and thery are mostly know for making reproductions of famous and museum carpets. In this case, this beautiful piece is a reproduction on the Safavid Kashan (16th/17th century) kilim at the Met Museum. The carpet is full pile, perfect condition.
